The fourth annual Safety, Security, and Sustainability Fair on Thursday is not only an enjoyable way to spend time, but it supports the Lab’s Emergency Management and Sustainability programs.
Safety of our people and community, Security of our property and assets, and Sustainability of our environment are the three building blocks of the fair.
The fair, located in the cafeteria parking lot, will run from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and features safety information and demonstrations from the Alameda County Fire Department and the University of California Police Department.
Security will be accepting unused keys, Lab badges, and parking placards, while Sustainability will be providing information on how you can help the Lab reach its zero waste goal and helping experienced and novice bikers with information, test rides and tune-ups.
Lab groups including the Joint Genome Institute, All Access Employee Resource Group, Disability Management, Health Services, and Strategic Communications will have informational booths.
Add the fair to your calendar as a reminder to join in on Thursday.
